How do I find vacant land and parcel owner lists in Jacksonville, Florida?
Jacksonville parcel and property data is free on maps.coj.net, the city's public map data directory covering every parcel in Duval County. A built-in query form filters to vacant land (PUSE = '0000') and returns owner names and mailing addresses — no account required.
How do I pull parcels & property records step by step?
The City of Jacksonville publishes its full Duval County parcel layer on maps.coj.net, and a single property-use filter turns it into a vacant land list complete with owner names and mailing addresses.
Open Jacksonville's public parcel layer
Navigate to the City of Jacksonville's public Parcels map layer page on maps.coj.net. This plain-looking page is the city's own map data directory — it lists every property parcel in Duval County and lets you search them right in your browser, free with no account.
Open the search form
Scroll to the very bottom of the layer page and click the Query link. This opens a simple search form for the parcel records.
Limit the search to vacant land
In the Where box, type PUSE = '0000'. That is the city's property-use code for vacant parcels — this one filter turns the entire county parcel map into a vacant land list.
Choose the columns you want back
In the Out Fields box type RE, LNAMEOWNER, LONGNAME, ADDRCITY, ZIPCODE, MAILADDR1 (or just * for everything). These give you the parcel number, owner, property address, and the owner's mailing address.
Run the search
Set Format to HTML near the bottom of the form and click Query (GET). The results appear as a readable list, one block per vacant parcel. If you hit the page limit, add a condition like PUSE = '0000' AND ZIPCODE = '32209' to work through one ZIP code at a time.
Record the data
For each lead, capture the RE number (Duval's parcel ID), owner name (LNAMEOWNER), property address (LONGNAME), city and ZIP, and the owner's mailing address (MAILADDR1). When the mailing address differs from the parcel, you have an absentee owner of vacant land — a classic off-market prospect. You can look any parcel up visually on the Duval Property Map.
