What it is

The DC tax roll, cut down to properties the District classes as vacant or blighted. Rows with a total balance above zero owe money. It is not every tax delinquent property in DC.

Why it matters

An owner of a vacant or blighted property who also owes taxes often wants out. These leads come with the owner name and bill address.

The fields you get

  • SSL (Square, Suffix, Lot)
  • PREMISEADD (property address)
  • OWNERNAME
  • ADDRESS1 (tax bill address)
  • CITYSTZIP
  • TOTBALAMT (total balance due)
  • TOTDUEAMT
  • TOTCOLAMT
  • EXTRACTDAT

The page showed data updated November 4, 2026.

  4. Download the CSV

Under CSV, click Download. The small table downloads fast. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets.
  5. Keep only rows that owe money

Filter the TOTBALAMT column to more than 0. We counted 1,040 rows on November 5. You now have the list.

Watch out for these

  • Column names on screen are long. In the file they are short codes, like TOTBALAMT for total balance due.
  • Some balances are negative. Those owners do not owe money. Remove them.
  • DELCODE means dead or active lot. It does not mean delinquent.
  • Every row we saw had the same extract date, so that date does not show which debts are new.
